Waaree Energies
Astha Jain: Waaree Energies has moved from being a solar module manufacturer to an integrated renewable energy platform. Its Q1 FY27 numbers were strong, while its order book stood at around ₹61,500 crore. Jain said the stock’s valuation had weighed on its performance, but recommended investors remain invested for the long term.
Vaishali Parekh: Parekh said the stock was trading at lower levels and could see some further downside. She identified ₹2,200 as a level to add to the stock, with ₹2,800–3,000 as the first resistance zone.
DCM Shriram
Astha Jain: The chemical and vinyl businesses remained the main strengths for DCM Shriram and accounted for a major share of its revenue. The businesses grew around 31%, while the broader chemical sector was showing signs of recovery. Jain recommended remaining invested, with a short-term target of ₹950–970.
Vaishali Parekh: Parekh said ₹900 had acted as a strong support level for the stock several times, making it an important level to watch. She identified ₹960–980 as the near-term target range and ₹1,100 as the key resistance level.
ICICI Prudential
Astha Jain: Jain recommended remaining invested in ICICI Prudential, saying the stock could see some weakness in the short term but had a longer-term growth outlook. She set a short-term target of ₹480.
Vaishali Parekh: Parekh said the stock was deeply oversold after recent weakness. She identified ₹470–480 as the near-term target and ₹430 as the support level.
Tata Motors
Astha Jain: Jain said the passenger vehicle business, including EVs and JLR, had recorded stronger volume growth than the commercial vehicle business following the demerger. Tata Motors PV recorded volume growth of more than 40%, compared with around 25% for the CV business. She gave a target of ₹300–310 for Tata Motors PV and ₹450–460 for the CV business.
Vaishali Parekh: Parekh said both Tata Motors businesses remained in a downtrend and should currently be viewed as trading opportunities. She saw scope for a bounce towards ₹300–310 for Tata Motors PV but said further clarity and a sustained trend were needed before taking a longer-term view.
Mastek
Astha Jain: Mastek’s UK public sector business remained an important growth area, while its order book was strong. Management had indicated that 45% of the order book was AI-led. Jain said IT stocks could remain weak in the short term but recommended staying invested for at least three to six months and through the Q2 FY27 results.
Vaishali Parekh: Parekh said Mastek was at a key technical level after its recent correction. She identified ₹1,200 as a level to watch for adding to the stock, with ₹1,700 as the first resistance.
