    Bajaj Finance now down 8%; Tata Power, Biocon report today

    Q2 Results Live Updates: Earnings reactions have yet again been on the extreme on Tuesday morning. Bajaj Finance, after the cut to its AUM growth guidance, asset quality pressures and credit cost commentary is down 7%, becoming the top loser on the Nifty 50 index. The result has also led to Bajaj Finserv shares tanking 6% ahead of its own results today. Vodafone Idea’s shares have jumped 6% on Tuesday after losses narrowed during the quarter and the stock is back near the mark of ₹10 per share. Among other positive earnings reactions, HEG shares are up 5.5%, Poly Medicure is up 7.3% and is the top gainer on the Nifty 500 index On the downside, CE Info Systems, the MapMyIndia parent is down 6%, while those of Transformers & Rectifiers are now locked in a 10% lower circuit after Monday’s 20% circuit. HBL Engineering shares are witnessing profit booking after Monday’s upmove, currently down 7%. Among the companies that will be reporting today, Bajaj Finserv is the only Nifty constituent, followed by other broader market and non-index names such as Bharat Forge, Biocon, Bikaji, Tata Power, RVNL, RITES, PI Industries, Hindustan Copper, BLS International are some stocks that will be reporting their results today.
