    AU Small Finance Bank CFO Vimal Jain passes away due to cardiac arrest

    AU Small Finance Bank on Wednesday announced with deep sorrow the sudden and untimely demise of its Chief Financial Officer Vimal Jain, who died on September 10, following a cardiac arrest.

    In an official statement, the bank said, “With deep grief and intense sorrow, we hereby inform of the sad and untimely demise of Mr. Vimal Jain, Chief Financial Officer of the Bank, on September 10, 2025.”

    “Vimal was associated with the Bank since 2010 and was a pillar of strength for the Bank and the Finance and Accounts function, playing a crucial leadership role throughout his 15+ years of career with the Bank, ” the press release added.

    Calling his passing “an irreparable loss,” the bank extended heartfelt condolences to his family.

    It further confirmed that it is initiating necessary steps for interim succession and will update regulators, including the RBI and SEBI, as per applicable requirements.

    Shares of AU Small Finance Bank ended higher on Wednesday (September 10) by 2.34% at ₹713.80 on the NSE.
