Hyperscale Data (GPUS) Maintains $21.6M Bitcoin Treasury Through Mid-2026

    August 25, 20263 Mins Read

    Key Highlights

    • As of August 23, 2026, Hyperscale Data (GPUS) maintained 278.0314 Bitcoin in its corporate treasury
    • At Bitcoin’s $77,755 closing price, the digital asset position was worth approximately $21.6 million
    • Bitcoin reserves are distributed between two company subsidiaries: Sentinum and Ault Capital Group (ACG)
    • During the week ending August 23, 2026, the company conducted no Bitcoin purchases or sales
    • A planned 2027 divestiture of ACG will refocus the business on data center operations and digital asset holdings

On Tuesday, Hyperscale Data (GPUS) disclosed that its corporate Bitcoin treasury contained 278.0314 BTC as of August 23, 2026, representing approximately $21.6 million in value based on that day’s Bitcoin closing price of $77,755.

The digital currency reserves are distributed between two fully owned operating subsidiaries. Sentinum manages the corporation’s data center infrastructure and Bitcoin mining activities, while Ault Capital Group (ACG) maintains operations spanning financial services, defense contracting, and hotel management.

Throughout the week concluding on August 23, 2026, Hyperscale Data engaged in zero Bitcoin transactions on public markets. The reported treasury balance represents the consolidated cryptocurrency position held by both subsidiaries on that specific date.

Dual Subsidiary Structure for Bitcoin Holdings

Sentinum focuses on mining Bitcoin while providing colocation and infrastructure hosting solutions for artificial intelligence and related technology sectors. Meanwhile, ACG functions as a diversified private equity and operating entity with investments across multiple industries.

Management at Hyperscale Data has indicated plans to separate ACG through a divestiture transaction in 2027. Following this corporate restructuring, the parent company will concentrate exclusively on data center services and digital asset investment activities.

The separation mechanism utilizes Series F Exchangeable Preferred Stock that was issued in December 2024. Holders of these preferred securities will exchange their shares for direct equity ownership in ACG upon completion of the spinoff.

    Post-Divestiture Business Strategy

Following the separation of ACG, Hyperscale Data will concentrate its operations on delivering high-performance computing infrastructure and maintaining digital asset investments. ACG will independently continue its specialized lending activities through Ault Lending, LLC, focusing on private credit and structured financing solutions.

Before the separation takes effect, ACG maintains active business lines in defense technology, industrial manufacturing, automotive components, hospitality operations, and proprietary artificial intelligence software development.

Over the trailing twelve months, GPUS stock has demonstrated significant volatility, with common equity shares surging more than 269% while the company’s preferred stock series declined approximately 1.5%.

Hyperscale Data operates from its corporate headquarters located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
