    Utilities Inch Up as Traders Hedge on Yield, Inflation View — Utilities Roundup

    Shares of power producers ticked up as traders hedged their bets on the outlook for inflation and Treasury yields.

    A recent surge in yields has weighed on the utilities sector, which is often viewed as a bond proxy.

    So far this week, yields have eased, but investors are eyeing the oil market and inflation data to see where the ceiling for Treasury yields will be.
