STORY: “I think inflation’s going to go higher here,” Landsberg said. “We made the cycle lows last month at 2.4%. I think you’re going to start to see 2.6%, 2.7% and heading back towards 3%. I don’t think you’re going to see 9% again but, globally, inflation seems to be picking up a little bit.”
“There are some selected areas that will continue to do well,” he added. “I think utilities do well in that environment. I think energy does well in that environment. You know, we favor some insurance stocks and also parts of tech. I think that where you’re going to get some growth is going to be in the places that do grow, which I think is harder when the GDP is slowing.”
