At 9.08 am on Tuesday, December Brent oil futures were at $65.67, up by 0.31 per cent, and November crude oil futures on WTI (West Texas Intermediate) were at $61.88, up by 0.31 per cent. October crude oil futures were trading at ₹5,505 on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) during the initial hour of trading on Tuesday, against the previous close of ₹5,491, up by 0.25 per cent, and November futures were trading at ₹5,491 against the previous close of ₹5,478, up by 0.24 per cent.

Telegana-based Sai Parenteral’s has filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for its proposed Initial Public Offering (IPO).

The offer, with a face value of Rs 5 per equity share, comprises a fresh issue of up to Rs 285 crore and an offer for sale of up to 3,500,000 shares by shareholders – Vikasa India EIF I Fund, Tilokchand Punamchand Ostwal, Devendra Chawla, Bhanwar Lal Chandak, Sreelekha Ganta, Padma Guntupalli, Vijay Gondi, Ideas And Journeys Private Limited, Bhautik Mukund Shah and Nilesh Pravinchandra Doshi.

The proceeds from its fresh issuance worth Rs 110.7 crore will be utilised for capacity expansion and upgradation of manufacturing facilities, Rs 18 crore for establishing a new R&D centre, Rs 20 crore for repayment / prepayment of certain outstanding borrowings, Rs 33 crore for working capital requirements and Rs 36 crore investment in wholly owned subsidiary, Sai Parenteral’s Pte Limited (Singapore) in relation to the proposed acquisition of Noumed Pharmaceuticals Pty Limited (Australia), and general corporate purposes.

Bank of India has reported an 11.8 per cent year-on-year (Y-o-Y) growth in its global business at ₹15.61 lakh crore as of September 30 from ₹13.97 lakh crore in the year-ago period, the bank said in an exchange filing. Global deposits grew 10.08 per cent Y-o-Y to ₹8.53 lakh crore (₹7.75 lakh crore), while global gross advances rose 13.94 per cent to ₹7.08 lakh crore (₹6.21 lakh crore). On the domestic front, deposits increased 8.53 per cent Y-o-Y to ₹7.30 lakh crore ( ₹6.72 lakh crore).

Chennai-based Grand Housing has filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for its proposed Initial Public Offering (IPO).

The offer, with a face value of Rs 5 per equity share, is an offer for sale of up to 35,500,000 shares by promoter Mr. Vijay Surana J.

Incorporated in 2004, the company is a real estate developer in India primarily focusing on plotted developments in Tamil Nadu, particularly in and around Chennai. As part of its business, the company acquires parcels of land and build basic infrastructure on the land, such as roads, power connections, sewage, water supply thereby converting it into developable land. The company has also worked to acquire contiguous parcels of land in some cases to create a larger area more economically viable for further development.

Its plotted developments are divided into two segments – residential segment – comprising development of residential plots and industrial segment – comprising development of large contiguous land to be used for industries. The company develops and sells residential land plots mainly to homeowners for their construction of houses and villas. The sizes of its residential plots typically range from 600 square feet to 2,400 square feet, with price of individual plot ranging from ₹1,500 per square feet to ₹5,000 per square feet.
