Terry Wogan’s youngset son Mark Wogan, 51 , made headlines after revealing his family were unable to sell their stunning home.

The sprawling 6,500 square foot property which boasts of views of Windsor Castle, a tennis court and a swimming pool, has been on the market after his mother, Lady Helen died last November.

Mark says there has been not a single viewing or offer on the house in nine months.

Sir Terry and Lady Helen purchased the seven bedroom property in 1975 and raised their three children at the family home.

During a chat on TalkTV with Mike Graham, Mark said: “You’d think someone would come round, even just out of interest, thinking, ‘Oh, I’d quite like to go round and see Terry Wogan’s house.”

Fuming he said: “But no one’s come to see it. No one, not one single person. That’s how dead the economy is.”

Other amenities of the property include five reception rooms, a utility room, ensuite bedrooms and London’s Paddington Station is just a 30 minute journey away.

Recalling childhood memories growing up at the luxury mansion, he continued: “We’re a close family, so the kitchen was central to everything. Mum was a fantastic cook. Eating and talking around a table was a big part of growing up in the house.”

He went on to say: “We’d also have some lovely long lunches on the terrace in the summer overlooking mum’s beloved garden. It’s a thing of beauty. We’ll miss the house very much. But it’ll [give] someone a great place to raise a family.”

In her will, Lady Helen left £100,000 in trusts for her each of her five grandchildren which they will receive when they are 25 years old.

And her three children were gifted huge sums of money too. The eldest son Alan was given £850,000, a further £750,000 was given to Katherine.
