DAGEM Power fuels UK’s Green Energy Transition with support from invoice finance supplier eCapital

    November 25, 20252 Mins Read

Based in Cannock, Staffordshire, the business specialises in delivering projects at scale, supporting major renewable and nuclear projects, such as Hinkley Point C, Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm and London Power Tunnels 2 – the rewiring of London’s underground transmission network. Utilising its proprietary Commissioning Management System, built on Microsoft O365 technologies, DAGEM Power provides detailed forecasted costing for clients whilst remaining transparent and efficient.

DAGEM Power’s key to growth has been to invest heavily into recruitment and training, along with retaining the specialist engineering talent it develops. A rapid growth strategy, along with the significant internal investment in recruitment and training, requires a significant amount of capital to keep projects moving and the team growing.

By leveraging Invoice Finance through eCapital, DAGEM Power has been able to extract critical cashflow from outstanding invoices and reinvest into the expansion of the business and training new engineers. This allows the firm to release cash, and allocate funds, as soon as an invoice is issued, instead of waiting the industry norm of 45+ days. It also provides the opportunity for flexibility to reinvest where it is most needed, as Darren Edmunds, Business Manager at DAGEM Power, explains:

“Our partnership with eCapital has been crucial to providing us with the confidence to continue to invest in our business and align with the ambitious long-term goals of the sector.

“eCapital has provided clear communication, tailored support and a deep understanding of our business model. Facilitating more than just financial support, but the stability to continue to drive innovation, nurture talent and make our mark in the UK’s green energy transition.”

James Cresswell, Regional Managing Director at eCapital, says: “DAGEM Power operates in a highly technical field, providing safe, compliant and advanced solutions, to tackle the UK’s next stage of sustainable infrastructure. Over the last few years we have seen DAGEM Power build out its capabilities and nurture the next generation of engineers.

“We look forward to continuing our relationship managing DAGEM Power’s cashflow to further facilitate its growth well into the future.”
