Utilities firm hails progress following revenues boost

    March 24, 20252 Mins Read

A utilities firm has hailed its resilience in a fluctuating financial market after recording double-digit growth.

Everflow saw revenue rise 21 per cent to more than £186 million in 2024.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 572 per cent to £5 million.

The company, which provides water supply and waste collection services, was helped by a rise in customer numbers, which jumped 16 per cent from 94,431 to more than 110,000.

Craig Dallison, chief executive at the business, which has offices in Peterlee, east Durham, and Nuneaton, near Coventry, said its progress was “fuelled by a customer-centric service that offers greater transparency and competition”.

He said: “We launched with the ambition of making utilities simpler for businesses and challenging the status quo.

“Our growth and customer retention rates are testament to the support and innovative solutions we offer businesses, which set us apart from other providers.

“As we scale and expand our offering, proprietary technology will become increasingly core to improving the responsiveness of our services, to continue saving businesses time and money.”

He revealed the business, which also provides broadband and phone services, has appointed Paul Lucherini as chief commercial officer, to help “enhance Everflow’s strategic direction, optimise products and expand into new markets”.

Paul said: “I’m thrilled to join the team at such a pivotal time.

“I look forward to building on Everflow’s momentum.”
