Utilities Up as Long-Term Treasury Yields Fall – Utilities Roundup

    November 2, 20262 Mins Read

Shares of power producers rose as Treasury yields remained near their recent lows.

Investors have rotated out of high-risk tech sector into defensive areas such as utilities.

The biggest monthly decline in long-term Treasury yields of the year also triggered a rotation into dividend-oriented utilities.

Shares of battery technology firm Fluence Energy fell sharply after the company reshuffled its executive leadership.

Veteran Siemens executive Axel Meier will replace Fluence Energy Chief Executive Julian Nebreda on an interim basis.

AES executive Richard Roizen will be the interim replacement for Chief Financial Officer Ahmed Pasha.
