    Utilities Up Sharply as Traders Rotate Into ’25 Laggard – Utilities Roundup

    Shares of power producers rose sharply as traders rotated back into a sector that had lagged the broad market in the fourth quarter.

    Utilities tend to draw fixed-income investors when Treasury yields are falling, due to their substantial dividend yields.

    Danish energy company Orsted said its U.S. joint venture is seeking an injunction against the Trump administration’s order halting construction of all U.S. offshore wind projects.
