    Utilities Up as Traders Hedge on Growth View — Utilities Roundup

    Shares of power producers rose as traders hedged their bets on the outlook for U.S. economic growth. Some stock-market trends may be pointing toward a further slowing in U.S. economic activity, veteran Wall Street strategist Jim Paulsen said in an emailed newsletter.

    Canadian energy company Eavor Technologies is planning to use new geothermal technology to power the German town of Geretsried.
