Utilities Up as Electricity Demand Seen Strong — Utilities Roundup

    November 19, 20252 Mins Read

Shares of power producers rose as traders bet demand for electricity would continue to grow due to the artificial intelligence boom.

Constellation Energy shares rose after the Trump administration said it would provide the company with a $1 billion federal loan to restart shuttered nuclear power plant Three Mile Island in Pennsylvania. Constellation has contracted with Microsoft to power the software giant’s data centers with the nuclear energy from the Three Mile plant.

Dycom Industries shares rallied after the builder of telecom and utility infrastructure said data-center demand bolstered its earnings.
