Utilities Rise on Defensive Rotation – Utilities Roundup

    September 24, 20252 Mins Read

Shares of power producers rose as traders rotated into defensive sectors.

Norges Bank Investment Management, the arm of Norway’s central bank that manages the country’s $2 trillion sovereign-wealth fund, agreed to buy a 21.8% stake in German electricity transmission system operator TenneT Germany.

Orsted added to its recent gains amid hopes that the Danish company’s development of a Rhode Island offshore wind farm would go ahead.
