    United Utilities’ environmental performance rated one grade above worst by regulator

    North West water and wastewater group, United Utilities, has been rated 2-star – just one above the worst grade – by the regulator.

    Local Environment Agency Water Industry Regulation teams have carried out more than 1,445 inspections of  Warrington-based United Utilities’ wastewater sites, contributing to the Environment Agency’s successful 10,000 annual water company inspections target for the year.
