Journeo has strengthened its position in the critical national infrastructure market after its newly acquired subsidiary, Crime and Fire Defence Systems (CFDS), received £2.3m in initial purchase orders from a UK utility provider.
The orders fall under a four-year framework agreement announced in September and cover high-security infrastructure protection projects across three operational sites.
CFDS will design and deliver complex security and monitoring solutions aimed at safeguarding essential assets and supporting the resilience of the customer’s network.
Work on all three locations is already underway, with completion scheduled for 2026.
Russ Singleton, CEO of Journeo said: “We are delighted to have received the initial £2.3 million purchase orders under this important four-year framework agreement, which demonstrates the confidence that major utilities place in the Group’s ability to deliver robust and innovative critical national infrastructure solutions. We look forward to working closely with the customer as the wider programme progresses over the coming years.”
The deal marks one of the first significant wins for CFDS since joining the Journeo Group, further expanding the company’s footprint in high-security, technology-led infrastructure protection.
