Comarch Joins Utilities Technology Council to Enhance U.S. Presence

    October 14, 20242 Mins Read

Comarch has become the latest member of the Utilities Technology Council (UTC), an America-based global trade association representing the critical communications and technology interests of energy, gas, and water utilities. This partnership will aid UTC’s efforts to enable and enhance the utilities industry globally and strengthen Comarch’s presence in the United States.

For over 75 years, UTC has been serving utility providers in America and beyond. It is the sole association that represents all utilities and focuses on the convergence of utilities, telecom, and IT for mutual benefit. The Utilities Technology Council is dedicated to bridging the gaps between the rapidly converging energy and telecommunications industries, where ICT networks embedded in utilities companies’ equipment provide greater control, protection, and situational awareness over their infrastructure.

The UTC membership provides a platform for Comarch to engage with key stakeholders in the North American utilities sector, offering opportunities for collaboration and insight into the evolving technological landscape.

Joining the Utilities Technology Council is a significant step toward Comarch’s strategic goals of enhancing its presence in the U.S. and contributing to developing utility infrastructure and services. By combining the UTC’s presence and resources with Comarch’s thirty years of experience delivering end-to-end products for telecommunications, the two organizations will work together to find new ways to better serve the utility industry in the United States and around the world.

Piotr Stokłosa, Director of Business Development, Comarch

Our conversation with UTC started last year. We have noticed their increasing contributions to establishing best practices in the industry in the U.S. and beyond. Today, we are proud to join their efforts and excited to share our telecommunications expertise while learning how to expand our offerings to meet the most critical needs of utility providers.

Rusty Williams, President and CEO, Utilities Technology Council

Comarch’s expertise in developing ICT solutions for telecommunications providers and utilities will greatly benefit UTC’s mission and its members. Their experience will allow UTC member utilities to create more optimal solutions for utilities ICT systems and promote innovation and efficiency within the utilities industry worldwide. We are looking forward to Comarch’s engagement with UTC.
