Brent crude stays above $108 as West Asia attacks raise supply disruption fears

Brent crude oil futures remained above $108 a barrel on Friday morning as escalating attacks on shipping routes in West Asia raised concerns about potential supply disruptions. At 9.37 am on Friday, November Brent oil futures were at $108.42, up by 0.73 per cent, and October crude oil futures on WTI (West Texas Intermediate) were at $103.04, up by 0.55 per cent. September crude oil futures were trading at ₹9888 on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) during the initial hour of trading on Friday against the previous close of ₹9722, up by 1.71 per cent, and October futures were trading at ₹9475 against the previous close of ₹9352, up by 1.32 per cent.

Glenmark Specialty S.A., a wholly owned subsidiary of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd., has launched RYALTRIS Nasal Spray in Brazil for the treatment of moderate to severe symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above. The launch follows regulatory approval from Brazil’s health regulator ANVISA earlier this year.

3i Infotech bags ₹1.02-crore order from leading commodity exchange

3i Infotech Limited has received a purchase order dated September 10, 2026, from a leading commodity exchange in India for additional resources to support its 24×7 Disaster Recovery operations and datacentre management support. The three-year order, covering FY 2026-27 to FY 2028-29, is worth ₹1,02,31,832, approximately ₹1.02 crore, excluding applicable taxes. The scope includes datacentre monitoring, backup and restoration, server, storage and network monitoring, incident and ticket management, asset and inventory management, vendor coordination and related operational support.
