    Sensex Today | Stock Market Live Updates: Nifty slips towards 24,150, extends fall from highs to 250 points

    Stock Market Live Updates: The markets have taken a bit of a nosedive at the start of the second-half of the Sensex weekly expiry. The Nifty has corrected over 250 points from the highs of the day, and has declined below the 24,200 mark. The fall has been led mainly by the Nifty Bank, which is down nearly 700 points from the highs of the day. Watch this space for all the LIVE updates.

    Stock Market Live Updates: The markets have taken a bit of a nosedive at the start of the second-half of the Sensex weekly expiry. The Nifty has corrected over 250 points from the highs of the day, and has declined below the 24,200 mark. The fall has been led mainly by the Nifty Bank, which is down nearly 700 points from the highs of the day. HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries are the top contributors to the Nifty 50 downside today, followed by stocks like Bharti Airtel. The Advance-Decline ratio is now split right down the middle, with 1,281 stocks on the NSE advancing, compared to 1,220 stocks declining. 248 stocks each on the Nifty 500 are advancing and declining. Same is the case with most other indices. Firstsource and Sonata Software continue to hold on to gains of up to 13%, while GMDC is at a 52-week high with a 17% surge. Tejas Networks, Astral, Supreme Industries are trading with losses between 3% to 4%. Watch this space for all the LIVE stock market updates.
