Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Market are looking to build on the momentum despite rising uncertainty in the Persian Gulf. The Nifty is up around 60 points, rising towards 24,200. The Nifty, however, is under pressure, falling over 50 points, dropping below 58,000. HCLTech, Wipro and Mahindra and Mahindra are the top gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The bulls are exhibiting some exceptional resilience, as the index looks to maintain momentum. The Nifty is up around 50 points, aiming for the 24,200 mark. The Sensex is also up, rising over 150 points, jumping to 77,400.
The bulls have managed to defend 24,000 through the week and would aim to continue doing so, even as 24,250 – 24,350 levels have become a major supply zone.
The Nifty Bank, on the other hand, is under pressure, falling over 100 points. The Nifty Bank too, after the initial outperformance, could not sustain above 58,000.
That index too remains locked in the 57,500 – 58,500 range. Stocks like Angel One, ICICI Lombard, HDB Financial react to results today, while big names like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, BHEL, Jio Financial, Polycab, ITC Hotels and many others report numbers today.
