    Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty Midcap hits record high, rises 500 points

    Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index is looking to extend the gains picked up in the previous sessions. The index is up around 200 points, the index is now trading around 25,900. The Sensex index has surged by over 650 points, taking the overall value to the 84,200 mark. ONGC, Bharti Airtel, Eternal, TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys, along with others, are the big gainers.

    Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets are chasing new heights as the marquee indices are trading with strong gains. The Nifty index is up nearly 200 points, trading around the 25,900 mark.

    The Nifty 50 has gained 200 points in the two trading sessions so far this week. From Friday’s lows, that recovery has been nearly 400 points.

    The Nifty Bank is up over 200 points, which takes it closer to the mark of 58,000 again and is another 200 points away from reclaiming its record high levels.

    Some of the biggest gainers among Nifty 500 stocks include Kirloskar Oil Trans Rect, BSE Ltd, Apar Industries, EID Parry, BLS, Reliance Infra are among the gainers.

    Earnings, in their final legs this season, Asian Paints, Tata Steel, Ashok Leyland, HAL, Cochin Shipyard, Nazara Tech, IGL among others are some key stocks reporting results today.
