Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: We are in the second half of this session, and the market still cannot find any room to breathe. In what can only be described as a terrible start to the week, the markets are in dee red. The Nifty is down a mammoth 300 points, falling towards the 22,800 mark. The Nifty Bank is also down, falling 1000 points, crumbling below 55,000. Hindalco, Max Health and Kotak Bank are the biggest laggards.

The markets are under immense pressure and have kicked off the truncated week on the worst possible note. The Nifty is struggling, stumbling below the 23,900 mark, with a 300-point fall. The Sensex is down over 1000 points, falling below the 73,200 mark.
The bulls have managed to defend 23,000 so far on the downside, but have now been breached.
Brent crude is back above $106 a barrel after the latest proposal rejection by US President Donald Trump, and bond yields have not cooled significantly either.
The supply of paper continues with block deals and IPOs, while broader market activity remains stock-specific. Immediate resistance for the Nifty is at 23,150 – 23,250 zone, while a break below 23,000 could drag the index to 22,700 levels.
The Nifty Bank has suffered major losses so far, falling over 1000 points. For the Nifty Bank, 55,000 on the downside remains key, while supply continues to emerge between 55,700 – 55,800 zones.
