    Sensex Today | Nifty 50 | Stock Market Live Updates: Benchmark indices Nifty and Sensex ended the holiday-shortened week on a firm note on Tuesday, buoyed by the signing of the long-awaited India–European Union trade deal earlier in the day. The Sensex closed 320 points higher, up 0.39%, at 81,857, while the 50-share Nifty gained 126 points, or 0.51%, to settle at 25,175. On the BSE, the breadth favored the bears, with 1,985 stocks advancing, 2,306 declining, and 182 unchanged.

    • S&P 500 futures rose 0.2% as of 10:22 a.m. Tokyo time
    • Nikkei 225 futures (OSE) fell 0.4%
    • Japan’s Topix fell 0.8%
    • Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was little changed
    • Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.7%
    • The Shanghai Composite rose 0.2%
    • Euro Stoxx 50 futures fell 0.2%
