    Minister of Finance rings opening bell at London Stock Exchange to mark launch of “Qatar Day”

    HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari led the high-level delegation of the State of Qatar that was welcomed by the London Stock Exchange (LSE) to ring the market opening bell, marking the launch of “Qatar Day at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG)”.

    This flagship event, held in the British capital, serves as a significant platform showcasing the deepening partnership between the State of Qatar and global investors, as well as the country’s achievements in developing a dynamic and sustainable capital market.

    On this occasion, HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari said: “Qatar Day at the London Stock Exchange Group embodies our commitment to deepening our capital markets and strengthening our ties with global investors.”

    The Financial Markets Day in London serves as an important strategic platform for enhancing dialogue between governments and international investors, providing an opportunity to discuss the latest developments in financial markets and future trends in finance and investment
