Work starts on office extension for manufacturer in Telford

    March 26, 20262 Mins Read

Construction work has started on a new office project in Telford.

Morris Property has broken ground on the extension for Craemer UK at its base on Hortonwood West.

The single-storey addition will provide new office accommodation with provisions for a first floor to be added at a later stage.

Craemer UK is part of the Craemer Group, a manufacturer of plastic pallets, pallet boxes, plastic containers and wheelie bins, supplying local authorities and clients in the environmental, logistics and manufacturing industries in the UK and internationally.

This latest project follows the Shrewsbury-based contractor’s delivery of a storage yard extension in 2022 which supported Craemer’s expanding operations.

Steve Poppitt, managing director at Craemer UK, said: “We are pleased to be working with Morris Property again on the extension of our facilities at Hortonwood West.

“The new office space will enhance the working environment for our teams while providing additional capacity to support our continued growth.

“It is great to see work now under way and we look forward to the next stage of development at our site.”

Steve Flavell, construction manager at Morris Property, added: “We’re delighted to be back on site with Craemer, building on the successful relationship we’ve established over recent years.

“This new office extension has been designed to integrate seamlessly with their existing facilities while providing the flexibility they need to expand in the future.

“It’s a pleasure to support a business that continues to invest in Telford and its workforce.”
