However, with a lot of care and attention there’s no reason why it couldn’t become someone’s dream home.And if it’s all about location, location, location then this house has a lot more going for it than meets the eye – it’s not far from Newcastle City Centre or nearby beaches of Tynemouth and Whitley Bay in North Tyneside.
Of course it could end up selling for more as the £1 asking price is the starting price at auction. And it has a garden – although this also needs a lot of work – as it looks quite overgrown.

House prices in Newcastle were £234,220 on average during the last year, according to Rightmove.
