Problem Solved
Two Nevada homes are among the most expensive Airbnb rental properties in the nation, according to a recent study.
A report by BestBrokers examined Airbnb prices across the country to seek out the priciest, based on the cost of a seven-night stay during the peak vacation rental month of July 2024. It factored in details such as property type, cost per night, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, maximum guest capacity and amenities.
Topping the list in Nevada was Zephyr Cove’s Sierra Sunset Estate, a 16,703-square-foot house on 24 acres of lakefront property, according to BestBroker. The property was ranked third most expensive in the nation.
“Sierra Sunset Estate consists of eight bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms that can comfortably accommodate more than 16 guests. It offers an array of amenities, including a private theater, exercise room, wine cellar, game room with a bar and a gourmet kitchen with a butler’s pantry,” BestBrokers wrote.
The property also features a private dock and more than 150 square feet of sandy beach.
The cost for such luxury: $39,563 per night. Divvy the seven-day cost of $276,941 among 16 guests and you get a bargain $17,309-a-night rate. Sign us up.

A California-side Lake Tahoe property, Rockhaven in Meeks Bay, rented for $17,732 a night in July, or $124,124 for seven days. It is the sixth-most expensive California property on the list.
