Kindly tell us more about TMS UK Properties. Are you a Nigerian company with base in UK?

TMS UK Properties Ltd is a UK-based real estate firm specializing in property acquisition, management, and investment strategies. While we have strong ties to Nigeria, we operate primarily in the UK, assisting investors—both residents and non-residents—in navigating the UK property market successfully. Our expertise lies in sourcing high-yield investment opportunities across UK, where affordability meets excellent rental returns.

Recently, more real estate firms are suddenly wooing Nigerian investors to UK real estate market, what could have prompted this sudden interest?

More Real Estate Firm are wooing Nigerian investor to UK real estate market because of opportunities in the UK real estate market. In the entire Europe as a continent, UK real estate market is the most stable. The environment is an environment that has a system where there is a rule of law which secures your investment due to a very good legal system, you can be sure of your Return on your investment. Presently we guarantee ROI is between 8 and 10% which is best for an economy that is stable. A practical reason why a lot of Nigerians like to invest in the UK is because many people see it as an opportunity to generate residue income to meet some of the bills in the UK for example people that have children schooling, people that have family over here, their ROI here can be used to take care of those expenses rather than sending money to UK every time so once they have an investment here the return on that investment can be used to solve some of their financial needs in the UK. The property market in UK is still evolving as there is current shortage of homes in the UK. The demand for residential here is high. Many years ago it used to be London, but now there is a lot of potential market even outside London.

To you, why should Nigerian investors consider the UK Properties market over other international markets like Dubai?

Based on my wealth of experience, I will advise anyone, Nigerians and potential investors who are looking to invest in the international market, that UK should be on the top of your list for consideration. There is political stability, for example I have been in the real estate market in UK for almost 20years and I have met several elderly persons that have told me they bought their properties in the earlier 70s and 80s that is one major advantage UK Market brings to the table. You can generate revenue on a single property for years, even up till your third generation. One of my clients who I have worked with bought their property in 1975 and currently his grandchildren are the ones benefitting from the property. People need to know that one of the ways to build legacy is by investing in real estate and UK is one of the realistically safe places to do so.

For Nigerian investors who are not resident in UK, how are their properties in UK protected if they invest through you?

Nigerians who are not resident in the UK and are looking to invest in the UK Market should look no further because TMS UK Properties Ltd is their go to. We guarantee your investment because top on the list of our value as an organisation is integrity. We also have a reliable and solid legal team who ensures proper documentations, so while you are in Nigeria you can be rest assured your investment is secured so long you pay your tax and fulfil all legal proceeding. Tell us some of the biggest challenges Nigerian investors face when buying properties in UK and other markets and how does TMS help to overcome these challenges?

The major challenges include unfamiliarity with UK property laws, difficulty in securing financing, currency exchange fluctuations, and property management concerns.
