Karen Hirst won the Property Personality of the Year Award in 2025

Two former property personalities are set to speak at Insider’s latest property leaders lunch event, held on 14 May, the same day as the North West Property Awards.

The Vision for Greater Manchester lunch event, held at the Alan Hotel, brings together a smaller group of property professionals ahead of the awards dinner for informative presentations from expert speakers and networking with industry peers.

Mark Stansfield, senior director of UK Market Analytics at CoStar Group, will be providing attendees with a top level overview of the latest trends in the commercial property sector and what they mean for the region.

Following this, two former recipients of Insider’s Property Personality of the Year Award will take to the stage.

Karen Hirst, project director at Old Trafford Regeneration MDC, will update attendees on the ambitious plans set to transform the Old Trafford area in the coming years. She will also reflect on her successful career in development and regeneration, across both the public and private sector.

This will be followed by an interview with Chris Oglesby, chief executive of Bruntwood and Bruntwood SciTech.

As Bruntwood celebrates its 50th anniversary, Oglesby will reflect on the developer’s impact across the city region and its flagship schemes, as well as sharing his perspective on the future of Greater Manchester and what lies ahead.

More information on the event and how to buy tickets can be found here.
