    Strive (ASST) Stock Rockets 11% Following $81.5M Bitcoin Acquisition

    Between August 17 and August 21, Strive acquired 1,110 Bitcoin in a transaction worth approximately $81.5 million, as disclosed in an 8-K filing submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission.

    Including all associated fees and expenses, the average acquisition cost came to $73,409 per Bitcoin. This strategic purchase increased the company’s aggregate holdings to 21,356 BTC, representing approximately a 5.5% increase from the previous total of 20,246 BTC held in mid-August.

    ASST shares experienced a surge of more than 11% during Monday’s morning trading session. The stock has delivered approximately 36% in returns since the beginning of the year.

    Bitcoin was hovering near the $80,000 mark on Monday, representing roughly an 8% appreciation above the average price point Strive secured for its most recent acquisition.

    Based on data from BitcoinTreasuries.NET, this acquisition positions Strive as the seventh-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder. The company now ranks behind Bullish while maintaining a position ahead of SpaceX.

    Strategy commands the top position with 840,447 BTC. Following are Twenty One Capital with 43,514 BTC, Metaplanet holding 43,000 BTC, MARA possessing 35,577 BTC, and Bitcoin Standard Treasury Company with 30,021 BTC.

    Executive Expresses Bullish Outlook on Bitcoin

    On Sunday, CEO Matt Cole declared he maintains “very strong” conviction that the Bitcoin bear market has reached its conclusion. He referenced Bitcoin’s recent upward momentum against both the U.S. dollar and gold as corroborating factors.

    Cole observed that Bitcoin established its bottom against gold in February, approximately five months prior to establishing its dollar-denominated bottom in July. He characterized the BTC/gold ratio as a valuable indicator and anticipates continued demand for scarce assets to favor Bitcoin.

    “The upside is not simply Bitcoin going higher. It is Bitcoin becoming the fastest horse inside an expanding scarcity trade while $ASST is structured to amplify that outcome as much as we can responsibly support,” Cole posted on X ahead of Monday’s open.

    Bitcoin experienced a nearly 25% appreciation last week, finishing Friday at $77,387 following a $14,264 increase, based on data from The Block’s BTC price page.

    SATA Preferred Stock Recovers to Intended Price Band

    Strive additionally oversees a preferred stock instrument designated as SATA. The security closed at $100.01 on Friday, successfully returning to the company’s desired $99-to-$101 price corridor after declining to a low of $83.30 during late June.

    The company elevated SATA’s annualized dividend rate to 13% in April and transitioned to daily dividend distributions beginning June 16. Strive introduced SATA in November 2025 at an initial price of $80 per share, securing $160 million in gross capital.

    SATA functions in a manner comparable to Strategy’s STRC preferred stock. STRC was exchanging hands near $97 on Monday, beneath Strategy’s $100 objective.

    Strategy disclosed no Bitcoin purchases for the week concluded August 23. The company divested 18.26 million MSTR shares for approximately $2 billion between August 17 and August 23, allocating $300 million to augment its USD Reserve to $5.1 billion.

    Strive’s cash and cash equivalents expanded to $171.9 million from $154.8 million as of August 14. The fair market value of its 505,000 Strategy STRC preferred shares appreciated to $48.6 million from $47.9 million.
