Bitcoin price prediction ahead of Fed decision

    July 28, 20263 Mins Read

Bitcoin price opened Tuesday at $63,706, down 2.5% from Tuesday’s opening level. BTC later fell toward $63,327 as traders reduced exposure before the Federal Reserve decision.

There was increased selling pressure by leveraged liquidations, spot ETF outflows and uncertainties about interest-rate expectations. Investors await the policy announcement and comments of Kevin Warsh on Wednesday, to have a clearer view of the market direction.

Fed Decision Sets Bitcoin’s Near-Term Direction

The Federal Reserve began its two-day meeting on July 28, with its decision scheduled for Wednesday. The meeting was unusually hard to call, with a rate increase also given a one-third chance by markets.

Markets anticipated the 3.50% to 3.75% range to be observed by the policymakers. Nevertheless, there was a possibility of a surprise increase due to higher yields and inflation concerns.

Chairman Kevin Warsh has provided little direction since assuming office. His apprehensive communication has compelled merchants to depend on economic records and futures value.

Warsh also created task groups that examine inflation, AI, economic data, and FED communications. An instant increase in the rates might seem like outright bias towards their work before the officials get full results.

The unexpected increase would push the dollar stronger and put Bitcoin under pressure beneath the close support. A stable rate will help stabilize markets, but the comments given by Warsh might cause the markets to experience volatility.

The fall of Bitcoin was indicative of a general risk-aversion and intense liquidations in leveraged markets. The sale acceleration increased as BTC fell below $64,000 in the course of the Tuesday session.

Bitcoin ETFs Post $11.64M Outflow as Ether Funds Add $9.23M

The U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF market recorded $11.64 million in net outflows on July 27. BlackRock’s IBIT led the withdrawals, posting an $8.82 million outflow during the session. The numbers revealed a decreasing demand of Bitcoin funds as investors decreased exposure on various products.

Spot Ethereum ETFs shifted the other way, with net inflows of $9.23 million. BlackRock ETF had the highest returns of $11.75 million in its ETHA outperforming the industry average of daily returns. BlackRock managed $15.3 trillion in assets at the end of June.

BTC Price Prediction: Will Bitcoin Hold the Critical $63,000 Support?

The BTC price traded at $63,390 on the four-hour chart after sellers pushed it below the $64,000 level. Bitcoin price was held at the support of nearly $63,000, and was being challenged repeatedly at around $65,000 that short term momentum was being tested.

The relative strength index was 35.38 with weak demand without being deeply oversold. The MACD line remained below the signal line and the negative histogram indicated a bearish momentum.

Bitcoin price needs to be above $63,000 or risk falling again to $62,700 and the larger support zone at 62,000. A four-hour close of less than $62,000 might open up a further movement to 61,000. However, a recovery above $64,000 would place $65,000 as the next upside target as per future Bitcoin price outlook.

A more pronounced breakout would then push BTC to $66,000 where the market was earlier defended by sellers. The short-term forecast is neutral as Bitcoin trades below the price of $64,000 and momentum indicators move downward.
