DOWAGIAC, Mich. (WNDU) – Hyperscale Data has shut down all Bitcoin mining at its Dowagiac data facility.
After a new deal with its California-based neocloud provider, Hyperscale Data stopped Bitcoin mining in Dowagiac to prepare the facility to transition into an AI data center.
The deal’s contract could be worth more than $1 billion over the next decade.
All Bitcoin miners at the facility went offline on September 1.
