Bitcoin traded just below the key $60,000 mark on Tuesday and was changing hands around $59,800. Bitcoin tried to recover after last week’s sharp correction. However, it remained stuck in a range. Investors continued to watch the U.S. monetary policy outlook. They were also monitoring institutional demand. While selling pressure has moderated, the market is yet to find a strong catalyst for a sustained breakout.

From a technical perspective, Bitcoin continues to trade within a critical range. Immediate support is seen around $58,900–59,000, with the next major support near $58,000 if this level fails to hold. On the upside, $60,600–61,000 remains the first resistance zone. A decisive move above this zone could open the path toward $62,000–62,500. If Bitcoin fails to reclaim $61,000, the market may continue to consolidate. It could remain below the psychological $60,000 level.

Institutional flows remain mixed. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a modest net inflow of around $69 million on June 29, breaking a series of heavy outflows seen in the preceding sessions. While this may indicate that selling pressure is easing, institutional demand remains considerably weaker than earlier this year. 

The broader macro environment continues to dictate market direction. Investors are closely monitoring upcoming U.S. economic data and Federal Reserve commentary ahead of the July 28–29 FOMC meeting. 

The broader crypto market remained cautious. Ethereum traded near $1,590, BNB around $555, Solana near $74, and XRP around $1.05. Solana outperformed most large-cap peers over the past 24 hours, while the rest of the market largely mirrored Bitcoin’s sideways movement.

Our advice: The market remains driven by macroeconomic developments rather than crypto-specific catalysts. Investors should closely monitor Federal Reserve signals, U.S. economic data, and ETF flows over the coming weeks. Bitcoin needs to reclaim the $61,000–62,500 zone to strengthen the recovery. Institutional buying also needs to improve. Until then, a disciplined and staggered investment approach is the better strategy. Chasing short-term price movements may carry higher risk.

SIS announces share buyback worth up to ₹120 cr

Security and facility management services provider SIS Limited on Monday announced a share buyback of up to Rs 120 crore, which will be the company’s fifth buyback programme since its stock market debut in 2017.

The board of the company has “approved, in principle”, a proposal to undertake a share buyback of up to Rs 120 crore, SIS said in a late evening regulatory filing.

This will be “at a maximum price of Rs 478.50 per equity share, representing a 10 per cent premium to the closing price on June 25, 2026,” it added.

Honeywell Aerospace shares slip in Nasdaq debut

Honeywell Aerospace shares closed down 0.4% on ⁠Monday after the company made its Nasdaq debut following its spinoff from Honeywell as part of a broader breakup of one of the last major industrial conglomerates.
