Wyevale Nurseries appoint Lisa Edwards as finance director

    May 25, 20262 Mins Read

Lisa Edwards, an associate chartered management accountant, joins the board after working with the company since 2021.

She replaces Tim Fawbert, who is leaving after three years to take up a new opportunity.

Andy Johnson, managing director of Wyevale Nurseries, said: “I am delighted to welcome Lisa onto the Wyevale Nurseries’ board.

“She joins us already extremely conversant with the business and fits in perfectly.”

Ms Edwards has worked as a consultant for Wyevale for the past five years, supporting a finance team reorganisation and playing a key part in the company’s ERP system upgrade.

She said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be taking on the role of finance director at Wyevale Nurseries.

“Having already worked closely with the business for several years, I’m excited to now contribute at board level alongside such a great team.”

Ms Edwards has a 35-year career in finance, including finance director roles in the UK and Europe within the automotive leasing and asset finance industries.

She will now join chairman Heather Williamson and Mr Johnson in developing the company’s business strategy and will also support the IT and HR functions.

Mr Johnson also paid tribute to Mr Fawbert, who joined in 2022 and previously worked with L’Oréal.

He said: “He has made a significant contribution during his time with us, driving forward several important initiatives and I would like to thank him and wish him every success in his new role.”
