Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty falls over 250 points; market hovering near day’s low

    April 9, 20261 Min Read

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are trading cautiously after yesterday’s bumper session. The Nifty is down around 250 points, falling towards 23,700. The Nifty bank index is down 900 points, falling to 55,000. Infosys, Shriram Finance, and HDFC Bank are among the major laggards.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates:  The markets are under pressure, and the movement is cautious as the Nifty trades around 100 points lower. The Nifty 50 index is here on the back of the biggest single-day gain in nearly a year. That remains the most important level to track on the index for further upside.

The Sensex is down close to 600 points, falling towards the 77,000 mark amid pressure.

The Nifty Bank is down over 400 points, and is now testing the 55,000 mark

In addition, the focus today will be on the start of the fourth quarter results season. India’s largest IT services company, TCS, reports results after market hours today. Commentary from the TCS management will be key not just for the stock but also for the other IT peers.
