Awaze interim finance chief confirmed in permanent role

    October 31, 20252 Mins Read

Hoseasons owner Awaze has confirmed Sharla Singh as chief financial officer.

She took on the role of interim CFO when former financial chief Matthew Price was appointed chief executive earlier in the year.

Singh, who has been interim CFO since May, joined the managed holiday rentals business in December 2023 and previously led the group’s financial planning and analysis team.

Before that she spent eight years in senior financial roles, including as group financial controller at Mony Group, formerly Moneysupermarket Group.

Singh began her career at Debenhams where she spent five years as a commercial finance analyst.

Awaze delivered a record-breaking performance in August 2025, which saw more than one million guests stay in its properties across 20 countries.

Price said: “Sharla’s time within Awaze and her strong platform business experience positions her perfectly to take on the role of CFO permanently.

“I look forward to continuing to work closely with her as we focus on implementing our growth strategy and delivering a leading experience for our owners and guests.”

Singh added: “Awaze is at an exciting time in its growth trajectory, and we are seeing record guest numbers, rising repeat bookings and strong owner engagement.

“With unrivalled scale in managed holiday rentals and a strong financial platform, we are well positioned to deliver great holidays for millions of guests and deliver stronger returns for owners.”
