    MSIG USA names Philip Wray head of property

    NEW YORK, July 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — MSIG USA, a leading provider of specialty commercial insurance, today announced the appointment of Philip Wray as head of property.

    Wray brings more than 30 years of global property insurance experience to the role. As executive vice president of property at MSIG USA, he advanced enterprise-wide underwriting initiatives and helped shape the organization’s product offerings across general, industrial and global property lines. Known for his collaborative leadership and commitment to underwriting discipline, Wray is recognized for driving innovation and delivering client-focused solutions.

    Before joining MSIG USA, Wray served as president of Tokio Marine Global and held senior roles at Swiss Re, Lloyd’s of London, Winterthur International UK Ltd., and Zurich. Across these positions, he has built and managed complex property portfolios spanning international markets, consistently bringing a data-driven approach to risk selection, pricing and product innovation.

    As head of property, Wray will lead MSIG USA’s national property portfolio, overseeing underwriting strategy, product development, and portfolio performance. He will also play a central role in strengthening technical underwriting standards and driving long-term profitable growth across the segment.
