The utilities sector climbed Monday.
Constellation Energy rose more than 4%, following a week when it was announced it will receive a $1 billion federal loan to restart the Three Mile Island plant in Pennsylvania, which will generate electricity for Microsoft’s artificial-intelligence business.
The stock gained more than 5% on that news but had given up some of those gains later last week.
