HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Huntsville Utilities (HU) said workers will close part of Madison Street for work Monday morning.

The closure will begin at 8:30 a.m. and HU said it will last four to six hours.

HU asks drivers to avoid the area as much as possible and to plan alternate routes. If alternate routes are not available, drivers can expect shifting traffic patterns and possible delays.
