    USA : recul des stocks de brut, d’essence et de distillats

    Les stocks américains de pétrole brut ont diminué la semaine dernière, tout comme ceux d’essence et de produits distillés, a annoncé mercredi l’Agence américaine d’information sur l’énergie (EIA).

    Les stocks de brut ont baissé de 3,3 millions de barils lors de la semaine du 21 mars pour s’établir à 433,6 millions, un niveau inférieur de 5% à sa moyenne historique pour cette période de l’année.

    Les réserves d’essence sont ressorties en baisse de 1,4 million, tandis que les stocks de distillats, qui incluent le fioul domestique, ont perdu autour de 400.000 barils, des niveaux là encore en-dessous de leur moyenne à cinq ans.

    Le taux d’utilisation des capacités des raffineries a atteint 87%.

    Les cours pétroliers ralentissaient quelque peu leur progression suite à la parution de ces données, le brut léger texan (WTI) prenant 1,2% à moins de 69,9 dollars le baril un peu plus d’une heure après l’ouverture des marchés américains.
