    Indices give up most of their gains ahead of Fed outcome, Tech earnings

    US Stock Market LIVE Updates: Today is a busy day for Wall Street. Not just for the US Federal Reserve announcing its interest rate decision, but also for a slew of tech names that will be reporting their quarterly results after the bell. Ahead of this important trading session, the same tech shares are leading the Nasdaq futures higher by nearly 200 points. As a results, the S&P 500 futures are also trading 20 points higher, and if those gains sustain, the index may well open above the mark of 7,000 for the first time ever.     US Stock Market LIVE Updates: Today is a busy day for Wall Street. Not just for the US Federal Reserve announcing its interest rate decision, but also for a slew of tech names that will be reporting their quarterly results after the bell. Ahead of this important trading session, the same tech shares are leading the Nasdaq futures higher by nearly 200 points. As a results, the S&P 500 futures are also trading 20 points higher, and if those gains sustain, the index may well open above the mark of 7,000 for the first time ever. The Dow futures are flat after Tuesday’s sell-off. While the street is pricing in a status quo policy from the FOMC this time around, all eyes will be on Jerome Powell’s commentary, not just on the road ahead for monetary policy, but also on a host of issues from the DoJ investigation to Lisa Cook’s court hearings.
