HyperStrong, a global leading provider of energy storage system solutions, has marked a significant strategic step in the Southeast Asian market with two key achievements in the Philippines in October 2025. The company inaugurated its new office in Manila’s Bonifacio Global City (BGC) financial district on October 10, followed by the successful signing of a major 185MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project for the local market on October 17. These consecutive moves underscore HyperStrong’s firm commitment to deepening its footprint in the Philippines and the broader Southeast Asia region.

Strategically located in the Philippine Stock Exchange Tower at the heart of Manila’s core business district, the newly established HyperStrong Philippines office is positioned to serve as an operational hub for the Southeast Asian region. The inauguration of the office was promptly followed by the signing of this breakthrough utility-scale energy storage project, demonstrating the company’s strong market competitiveness and brand influence.

During the project signing ceremony, the client, SPC Island Power Corporation (SIPC) — a wholly-owned subsidiary of SPC Power Corporation, which is listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange, commended the project’s vital role in supporting the Philippines’ energy transition and enhancing grid stability. Mr. Kevin Changbin Qiu, Senior Vice President of HyperStrong International, stated, “We are honored to contribute our leading technical expertise and extensive global project experience to deliver reliable energy storage solutions. This successful project signing not only reflects HyperStrong’s comprehensive capabilities but also marks the beginning of a long-term strategic partnership with local stakeholders.”

With 14 years of industry experience, HyperStrong has participated in over 300 energy storage projects worldwide, with a cumulative installed capacity exceeding 40GWh. The award of this 185MWh project stands as a testament to HyperStrong’s established comprehensive strength in the utility-scale energy storage sector and its recognition by the local market. Leveraging its profound technical expertise and successful international project track record, HyperStrong is fully prepared to play a central role in empowering the Philippines and the wider Southeast Asia region towards a sustainable and resilient energy future.
