    Second half of Mahoning County property tax bills mailed out, deadline set for August 2

    Homeowners in Mahoning County should have already received or should soon be receiving their property tax bills for the second half of 2024.

    According to a press release from Mahoning County Treasurer Dan Yemma, the bills have been mailed out to Mahoning County homeowners and are arriving.

    If you don’t receive your bill by July 26, you’re asked to visit the Mahoning County Treasurer’s website or call 330-740-2560 to confirm payment amounts or request a copy of your bill.

    The deadline to pay without penalty is Friday, August 2. 

    There are multiple ways to pay your property taxes including online and in person. Online payments can be made here and can be made with credit cards, as well as Electronic Check, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Venmo. 

    A service fee of 2.95% with a $2.95 minimum will be charged for all credit card payments and a fee of $1.95 will be made for electronic check payments.

    You can also pay by phone by calling 844-212-5002. There will be a 95 cent charge plus service fees for paying by phone.

    You can also pay by mail via check or money orders made out to Daniel R. Yemma, Treasurer; Mahoning County Courthouse, 1st Floor; 120 Market Street; Youngstown, OH 44503. Any payment postmarked on or before the due date will be considered on time.

    To pay in person, you can go to the Mahoning County Treasurer’s Office on the first floor of the Mahoning County Courthouse between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
