Abernethy joined the firm in 2019 as a placement student before joining full time in 2021 as a graduate surveyor. On the agency team, Abernethy provided cross sector advice covering a broad spectrum of commercial property asset classes including office, industrial, leisure, land and development, residential and investment.

During his time at the firm, he has represented clients including McAleer and Rushe (MRP), Belfast Harbour, Heron Brothers, Ulster Estates Limited, Radius Housing Association and MSCRE Ltd.

Abernethy has also been involved in several landmark projects such as The Vantage, Ebrington Plaza, City Quays, Bedford House and has recently been instructed on 135,000 sq ft at Venn.

Sean Fox has been promoted to associate director and head of client accounting, within the commercial property management accounts team. Since joining the firm eight years ago as a client accountant, Fox has taken on more responsibility and now leads the client accounts team driving performance across the department.

Neil McShane, managing director at Lambert Smith Hampton said: “Over the last number of years, Kyle and Sean have both established themselves as a vital members of their respective teams.

“Kyle has continued to develop in his role, and his strong people skills and work ethic have enabled him to make a meaningful impact, not only within the agency team, but also within the wider business.

“In his new role, Kyle will continue to lead projects across all commercial sectors providing strategic advice to clients, as well as playing a key role in business development across the business.

“I’m thrilled that Sean will now be leading the client accounting team. Since joining, Sean has understood that providing the best service for clients is core to our ethos and I look forward to seeing him take his team forward in this new role.”
