Samsung is gearing up to roll out its highly anticipated One UI 7 update, built on Android 15 for all eligible Galaxy smartphones. A leaked roadmap suggests that flagship devices like the Galaxy S24 series will receive the update first, followed by older models. Moreover, the complete rollout for older Galaxy smartphones is expected to conclude by late May, ensuring that a wide range of Samsung users experience these latest software enhancements.
Samsung One UI 7 update timeline, supported devices
A leaked One UI 7 update roadmap from GSMArena suggests that flagship devices like the Galaxy S24 series will receive the update from April 18 for Samsung’s top-tier smartphones. This includes the Galaxy S24 series, including the S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, and S24 FE, which will be among the first to receive One UI 7. Also, Samsung’s latest foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6, will be updated by the same date.
Next, the update will be available for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Z Fold5, and Galaxy A54 by April 25. Other eligible devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy A34, Galaxy A33, and Galaxy A53, will receive the update by May 16. People using the Galaxy Flip 3 or Fold 3 models will have to wait till May 23 to get this Android-15-based update on their devices.
Further, reports suggest that Samsung has begun beta testing One UI 7 on its latest foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Flip and Fold 6. Moreover, the company’s One UI Beta Program forum has also listed these smartphones, hinting that a broader rollout is imminent.
