East Anglia’s Haven holiday parks to benefit from £100bn UK investment

    December 22, 20251 Min Read

Blackstone, the investment group that owns and co-owns major British attractions including Madame Tussauds, Alton Towers and Legoland, operates Haven holiday parks in Norfolk and Warner adult-only holiday villages in Suffolk.

The company, which manages $1.2 trillion (£900bn) of assets worldwide, bought the 39 Haven sites in 2021 in a £3bn deal that included the Warner Hotels business.

Haven has four holiday parks in Great Yarmouth, in Belton, Hopton and two in Caister.

Warner Hotels operates 16 UK sites, including villages at Corton and Gunton Hall in Suffolk.

Blackstone, the world’s largest alternative asset manager, plans to plough £100bn into its UK property over the next 10 years.

It claims to be Britain’s largest overseas investor, with a portfolio of data centres, logistics and even railway arches.

By next summer there will be nine Wetherspoons outlets at Haven parks, including the Hopton site.

Blackstone employs a British workforce of 50,000, with more than 13,000 staff at Haven.
