NatWest business manager joins SWIG Finance in Dorset

    November 19, 20251 Min Read

SWIG Finance, which helps businesses that cannot secure mainstream funding, has appointed Richard Belcher to the position.

Mr Belcher has experience in banking, international travel, real estate and music and has run his own ventures.

He joins SWIG after 13 years as a NatWest business manager.

Mr Belcher will work with Dorset-based business owners to help them secure funding.

He will guide his customers through the application process, helping them shape their proposals and present the strongest possible case.

He said: “Bank funding isn’t always available when it’s needed.

“I’m excited to work with businesses that have great plans but need more support in bringing them to life.”

SWIG Finance supports a range of funding needs, including cashflow, operational costs, marketing, expansion and acquisitions.

Because it bases its lending decisions on potential rather than collateral, it can support projection-led cases that demonstrate a good growth trajectory.

Businesses do not need a perfect plan before approaching SWIG.

Mr Belcher is here to help put the essentials together and support business owners in refining their applications.

He is looking forward to getting to know the Dorset business community and expanding his network.
