    ‘Property Brothers’ Getting a New HGTV Spinoff — and Fans Are Split

    Both HGTV and Property Brothers stars Drew and Jonathan Scott excitedly announced on Oct. 22 that a new spinoff is on the way called Property Brothers: Under Pressure. Some fans are hyped about the big news, while other HGTV viewers aren’t so sure about the new show, sharing their thoughts online.

    The new show has been greenlit for a 14-episode season starring and executive-produced by the Scott brothers. According to the official logline shared by HGTV, the show will focus on “the twins as they help wary buyers grappling with commitment issues make confident, informed real estate decisions.”

    “With the emotional and financial stakes at an all-time high, the brothers will guide clients through the highs and lows of the home buying process, then incorporate stunning, smart and functional design solutions to create dream homes,” the synopsis went on.

    The Scott brothers also announced the upcoming show on Instagram, saying in a new video, “We have a brand new show coming to HGTV next year! Get ready for it! It’s called… Property Brothers: Under Pressure.“

    “It’s going to be the whole journey,” they continued, teasing the show’s premise. “You get to watch the stress of buying to the thrill of renovation. Yeah, it’s real stakes, real emotions, and really, really cool design.”

    Some Fans Were Thrilled but Nervous About the Brothers’ Other Ongoing Series

    Fans quickly took to the comments to share their thoughts, with many excited about the prospect of another show focused on the Scott brothers.

    “So cool😍🔥 Can’t wait to see it ❤️❤️,” said one such fan, while another replied, “Can’t wait love your shows you guys are awesome! 🙌.”

    Others highlighted the brothers’ other shows, hoping that they continue airing alongside the new show, with one person writing, “Looking forward to this but please tell me that we will continue seeing Chasing The West and CelebIOU. Love those too!!”

    A similar comment read, “What about Chasing the WEST? That was 1 of MY FAVS! I am a rancher SO i know can relate! Anyway i hope it’s back!”

    Other People Called Out HGTV for Canceling Fan-Favorite Shows

    While the Scott brothers have no involvement in whether or not other shows on HGTV are renewed or canceled, some fans shared displeasure about the new Property Brothers show after their favorite programs were canceled by the network.

    In particular, the series Bargain Block was mentioned multiple times, as the show was canceled not too long ago after five seasons. “Bring back Bargain Block,” requested one fan in the comments of the Scott brothers’ post.

    Another disappointed fan wrote, “Yet again another show for the property brothers while you removed shows we loved,” tagging HGTV.

    “You remove shows your viewers want and give these two another show that’s a hard no,” read a similar comment. Along with Bargain Block, a few other HGTV shows canceled in 2025 include Married to Real Estate, Farmhouse Fixer and Izzy Does It.
