    Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty remains below 23,000; Bharat Forge down nearly 8%

    Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates:Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex opened today’s trade session lower and witnessed a sharp fall soon after. This comes after the Wall Street crash overnight post theTrump tariffs announcement.

    Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty 50 opened today’s trade session session 3,086.95 points below its record high of 26,277.35.

    Nifty 50 closed the previous session at 23,246.15, while Sensex ended at 76,295.36.

    Overnight, Wall Street indices witnessed their worst sell-off since 2020. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended nearly 1,700 points lower, S&P 500 was down nearly 5% and the Nasdaq Composite declined nearly 6%.

    It remains to be seen if the Indian markets will continue to show the same resilience as Thursday, post US President Donald Trump’s tariff announcements.

    UltraTech Cement, Adani Wilmar, HDFC Bank, YES Bank, Bandhan Bank, Jio Financial Services, Avenue Supermarts, Nestle India, Fortis Healthcare, Jupiter Wagons, Paras Defence, RBL Bank, GR Infraprojects, Bajaj Auto, Zomato, Bajaj Finance, L&T Finance, Mazagon Dock, Vedanta, are among the stocks in focus today.
